I would like to upgrade my current database, currently written in Access 97, to be upgraded to Access 2007. The database has approximately 125 fields and 75,000+ entries and has built on top of it a very sophisticated application that is a Swiss Army knife in terms of utility. It pretty much does it all, including scripts that handle billing, scripts that ensure accurate data entry, scripts that check eligibility of our clients through the internet, scripts that help us prepare our reports, scripts that interface with other instruments at our office site, and scripts that upload necessary customer data to our website. I currently have a new database/application in development but I wanted to see how feasible it would be to upgrade our current database to a more modern architecture as a more intermediate and immediate step forward. In your proposal, please detail your experience with performing such an upgrade, your proposed price range (provide a low, middle, and high estimate), proposed time of project completion (again, provide a low, middle, and high estimate), and let me know what other information you may need. If a suitable bid is accepted, I will send an empty copy of our database for dissection and analysis Then we will figure out a proper price and project completion timeframe.
