We are looking for expert talent to build us an interactive marketing piece using Macromedia Director MX 2004. The completed presentation will be used by our salespeople presenting the show while it’s being projected on a wall or a screen, controlling the show’s functions using a remote control, NOT using a keyboard in most instances. This critical usability requirement needs to be kept in mind throughout the design and coding process.
The provided background image would be overlain at the top by text dropdown lists for various topics and subject areas, similar to a website navigation menu. Mousing over a topic would create a rollover effect, but the dropdown list would not appear until the user clicked on the main topic. This prevents accidentally having dropdown lists appear until wanted.
Clicking on any subject in the dropdown lists will open a corresponding Flash movie inside a portion of the main presentation (Movie In A Window; MIAW). It will also cause an animated text title with the same name as the subject to appear just above the MIAW. At the same time, an illustrative graphic box (245 pixels square) opens on the left side of the screen.
The individual Flash shows that are the content pieces are already completed; they will not be constructed as part of this project. They are supplied here for layout purposes, and so that you can make sure they work correctly within the Director movie. Some of the Flash shows contain custom controls for navigating within the Flash show (pause, fast forward, etc.). These controls must function properly in the completed presentation.
The bottom portion of the presentation will be a MIAW for Flash banners that we customize for each individual customer. For this bid, we are supplying a sample SWF file.
**Exit**, **Print**, **Home**, and **Back** functions will be accessible via text rollovers located near the bottom left corner of the presentation.
The completed presentation would not open in a web browser, but as a standalone Director projector movie (.exe). The presentations must be able to play on Windows 98, NT, 2000, and XP, as well as Macintosh OS 9 and OS X.
We are looking to develop a long term relationship with a top notch, dependable and communicative vendor.
