We need a someone to program a flash file that can be used as a way to softly scroll a series of images from left to right/right to left on a website.
Images will have the same height (approximately 200 pixels) but can have different widths and will be located in a directory on the webserver. Images will be in JPEG or GIF format and will be named [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] etc (or 1.gif...).
The number of images must not be technically limited. Before all images are loaded, a 'LOADING' text shall be displayed.
By default the images shall scroll from right to left in a speed defined by an input parameter. All image files that make up the scroller must be clickable. Targets and URLS will be read from either an XML or an INI file on the server, that can be changed as needed.
While the flash file by default scrolls from right to left without any user intervention, outside links placed on the page must be able to control the flash file, accelerating it and stopping/pausing at different positions (equal to the image IDs), for a specified amount of time (15-30 seconds), before it resumes the smooth scrolling.
The flash file must automatically figure out which way is the fastest, and if needed scroll to the left instead of to the right, depending on how many positions there are between the currently shown and the desired target image. We will provide all example images and a mock-up photoshop image.
