Requirements: 20 Projects on RAC with a rating of AT LEAST 9.2, no project with less than 5 rating (ie - all completed) Note: I said Social Engine in specs but you can use Drupal or anything else as long as you can get it done right. I prefer to have the same person do all 3 parts. ***If you do not have 20 Projects on RAC with a rating of AT least 9.2 then I require a MINIMUM of 20% Guarantee. Note: I pay 100% at the end of a completed project, no partial payments for requirements, testing, etc.... Sorry, this project is very important to me and must be completed in its entirety! NOTE: Please take a look at my non-action ratio! It is 0% (after I pick a coder on this repost) and I have done over 100 projects here on RAC. That means you will NOT waste your valuable time looking at my project only to find out it was canceled. I ONLY post projects that WILL be completed. This is PHASE I - there will be 4 Phases and if you complete 3 phases then a HUGE bonus will be paid (more than $3500). Of course you are ONLY bidding on Phase 1. Yes, the attachment is long but it is mostly in 28 Font! :) We MUST talk on the vworker chat before I will accept your bid to go over requirements if I am interested in your bid. Please do not leave generic bid like "We can do this." Show me you read it. Note: If you need more time or less time - let me know in your bid. I can always give more time BEFORE project starts. Also, please state in your bid request "I give Markis permission to have 2 FULL weeks testing AFTER project has been FULLY tested by us and is completely done." RAC only gives me 5 days to test and 5 days is not enough time. NOTE: If you think needs more than 3 months - then mention it in your bid. I do not mind giving more time if you tell me BEFORE you bid. ALSO, please have a tester - do not make me your tester. NOTE: If you think it would cost more than $6000 - tell me how much.
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project.

In case there was ANY confusion. I will be responsible for ALL data. ie - important dates in history, those who died, etc.... You are only responsible for the design and implementation of the website/database. Make sure EVERYTHING works. All data I will be responsible for. Thank you, Markis

Ok. No bidding please. I need to modify my specs thanks to some good comments by a couple programmers. If you have any other "useful" comments, please let me know because I WILL do this project. I realize I asked too much because I forgot to mention that I was willing to buy social engine from [url removed, login to view] and allow programmers to work from that. Please give me your expert opinion... Would that help to reduce the cost/time of things a lot? Also, I don't expect people to reinvent the wheel. if things have been done before, like the messaging thing I mentioned then you can use it (as long as you are allowed to, or it is cheap for me to buy) especially if it would otherwise take a long time. So, if you know of "components" that can do what is needed - as long as it comes with source code that you can modify then I would be open to use it. Also, if you have any other suggestions for the modifications of the specs then please let me know. Also, if anyone could tell me ABOUT how much time some of these items would take - so I can decide if I need to break it up more, that would be wonderful. I will be working on these specs over the next few days and will resubmit the project with new specs. I do apologize for any inconvenience I caused you by reading sub-par specs. I will try to do better in a few days. This is my largest project to date, so need to learn a few things. Also, may I ask a question? Because this project would take a long time and I will earn extra money over the course of the development of the project. Let's assume you think the project needs $9000 but I only have $6000 on the start date. Would you accept a statement like this "I guarantee that I will provide a MINIMUM of $3000 bonus on SUCCESSFUL completion of the first phase of the project (ie this project)" - remember, I have done over 100 projects on RAC, so I am not a fly by night small company. Remember, I am just asking!!!! Thank you for your time and help. Thank you, Markis

Ok. I will cancel this project and start a new one - it will have MUCH better specs. If you are interested in it, please search for my project in tomorrows newsletter or search for my name in open projects. I will repost in a few minutes. Thank you, Markis

Note: I said SocialEngine, but if you want to use something else like Drupal, I do not mind - as long as open source and can do what I need.
For development - it will start off with Power Plan on [url removed, login to view] Later will move to VPS then finally to dedicated server. Can you tell me what software I would need to buy (and preferably where to buy it and how much it is) if I want a non-hosted dedicated server (meaning I need to buy install software). I am thinking of using the planet.
