Project: Java Server Application + MySQL utilizing Crystal Reports Overview: Sales Analytics has a java/MYSQL web application hosted on a Linux server. This is an interactive application where the user selects parameters from a menu to feed a MYSQL query to select records for the database. The resulting records are published into a Crystal Report and immediately converted to a PDF document which is displayed for the user. At this time I do not want the user to have any interactive active via Crystal Report, just see, save & print. I want to use crystal report for development of the reports and deployment on the server via the java web application. Technical Resource Needed: 1. Ability to connect the crystal reports to the java web server application to deploy on the Linux server. 2. Crystal Reports design experience. Complex Bar Charts with two axis. Reports with many sub forms and sub reports. Convert MS Access Reports / Charts into Crystal Reports. Experience in deploying crystal reports within the web application. 3. Java server side application development 4. MYSQL experience. 5. MS Access helpful - The web application MYSQL database is created from an MS Access database Sales Analytics utilize a computer model implemented using MS Access. The web application is the method to make the results available to the customers. Note: Crystal Reports has a rich feature set. Much of it's design center is to allow knowledge workers to connect to a data source and create their own reports with filters etc. My primary interest at this time is to use crystal as a batch printing tool. It is the only tool so far to provide advance report design utilizing MySQL to deploy in a web environment. Note: Looking for bide on phase a & b in the Deliverables Section.
## Deliverables
Three Phases: a. Demonstration of a simple Crystal Report with a chart being called from a java / MySql environment. b. Creation of one report consisting of three subforms/subreports. Two of the subreports are charts and the other is a summary total page. c. Based upon the success of a & b above, the conversion to Crystal of ten additional reports. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
