Website Project Finished Up

There are two types of data you can get from my website; one is assumed names from a local county clerk’s office.? This data is just raw, unfiltered data, you get everything the county puts out.? This data goes out every week day. ? The other type of data is gathered from the State once a week.? This data can be filtered many ways, by business type, geographical area, etc.? You can save up to 10 of your favorite searches so they are easily repeatable.? You can also buy historical data in addition to buying data on a monthly subscription basis. ## Deliverables I am running my own web server on Microsoft SBS 2003 with PHP(5.1.2)/MySQL(5.0.37) I will write/edit all the content and there is still a lot of work for me to do on that.? Your job will be functionality although you are more than welcome to make suggestions along the way, in fact, it’s encouraged.? We'll use a sales tax table that I will create for this * If you check on Free Search and you are not logged in, it takes you to the login screen but the “area?? of the website highlighted is Members Area instead of Free Search. (minor detail) * Redo some of the queries so that we are getting the correct data out.? As it stands now, it doesn’t send out the proper fields on some of them. * Take out the credit card number storing routine.? I don’t need to store that data anymore * I need a way for people to just buy historical data without being a subscriber if they want to. * I need to add something to the home page that allows people to join the newsletter just by submitting their email address without having to become a member.? I think it would be on the left hand side where you sign in.? We can ditch the “What’s New?? box and use this in its place.? They will need to agree to the terms and conditions when doing this * After signing up, there is a problem with the site thinking that you are logged in, fix that part or take out the portion of code that tries to check to see if you are logged in to this site from multiple computers at one time.? This was put in to try to keep people from handing out their log in to other people for free. * During the sign up process, need to add “none?? as a data type option or at least allow the user to leave the selection for data type blank for one or the other in case they only want one type of data.? You’ll have to sign up for a free account to see what I mean.? We do need to warn them if they don’t choose EITHER one but it is acceptable for them to ONLY choose one type of data. * The export feature from the "free leads" section of the website doesn’t work.? Basically tells you that it can’t find the file.? It works from other areas, just not here. * Add back the newer feature in ARB for [login to view URL] that allows for continuous renewals until the customer cancels their membership.? I believe this is a very minor change, I believe you just have to submit 9999 now as the total number of occurrences instead of their previous limit of 36. * I need to ensure that the Money Back Guarantee and Refund Policy are operating correctly.? As it stands now, it will allow you to enter those areas and THEN it tells you that you need to be a member. * Some of the admin portion of the website needs some work, this is probably where we will add the newsletter subscription initialization anyway I would think.? * I need a report on the admin portion that tells me what subscriptions are expiring so I can remarket those.? ? Perhaps even an automated email of some sort. * There could possibly be a need for two different credit cards being used for the two distinctly different types of data being offered.? We need to look at that, perhaps break the sign up process into two separate pages rather than doing it all on one page? * When they are buying historical data, I would like for them to have an easy way to go back and requery the data if the number of records being returned is too little or too large. * When downloading your data, is there a way to force it to open Excel rather than just displaying it in an Excel webpage?? If not, can we at least make it open it in a separate browser so as not to disturb what the customer is currently doing?? I’m sure we’ll find much more as we go along.? PLEASE ALLOW FOR THAT!
