we have a joomla website with community buoilder where registered users will be assigned to 2 user groups:
-special members these members have to pay.
Special members are able to see details of each users.
We would like to use JUGA, or any other component for the user-group management that you can suggest.
we can also use joomla standard user groups: "registered users" will be assigned to the "Registered" group, and special members to "publishers".
What we need to have modified:
special members should be able to see user`s details, but registered users should not be able to see details of special members, only invited (new) users are able to see the profile details of the particar special member and do not see of course the profiles of other special members.
For example, on the "Who`s online" page we have 3 modules: one that shows the online users in fireboard forum, one which shows online users in community builder, and another one which shows users online in the chat (JPFchat)
The easiest solution would be to write a script into community builder that will filter users based on the group they belong.
this way, when someone will want to visit a special member`s profile page, a script will filter him: if he is a special member, he will be able to see the profile, if not, an error message will show up with a link to the 'become a special member page'.
We are open to any suggestions.
Good knowledge of joomla and CB.
