Use whatever server-side technology you need... preferably PHP. Streaming can be in HTTP or RTSP but must be demonstrated to work as prescribed.
We are a development team working on Project Green Sprite, a project undertaking the indexing, relational mapping and association of the entire world's Mobile Videos.
As our focus is on our back-end index, mapping & retrieval system, we would like someone to produce a basic YouTube Mobile clone to start running real Mobile tests on. See [login to view URL] to get a better idea of our needs. However, our mock-up must be able to push videos to not only all internet-capable phones, but also iPods and PSP. That simply means 2 streaming options and file formats, both mp4 and 3gp encoding.
Unfortunately, our budget has been exhausted so only bid if you can do this efficiently and cheaply. We will not entertain offers from con-artists, or over-priced professionals. We know the value of a programmer and will treat you with respect (and monetary rewards) if you can demonstrate the necessary skills and produce a functioning product. There are many existing YouTube clones out there. We are looking for something unique.
Excellent job opportunities are available based on performance on this task, as the initial research came out of Angel funding and we are now close to securing 1st Round.
