We have a website that is mis-behaving on an ENOM Shared Hosting Plan. I'm pretty confident the problem lies with the server configuration - but would would be open to suggestions.
Initially, it was throwing a 500 error, - misconfigured site. (You can see the initial project posting here: http://www.freelancer.com/projects/PHP-Javascript/Wordpress-Website-throwing-errors.html). That problem was resolved by the freelancer by changing server settings.
Now, however, the auto-upgrade on plugins is failing, as well as the ability to install new plugins. Initially, it was asking for FTP information, I was able to clear that hurdle by adding "define('FS_METHOD','direct');" to the wp-config file. Now it's failing with "Could not create directory." I've set the wp-content folder to 755 but still no luck clearing the error.
Randomly, this site is also throwing a "too many redirects error".
The entire site needs to work correctly, it needs to allow autoupdates and auto installs of wordpress, and we'd have the too many redirects error solved.
The site is http:// med ford auto motive . com (remove the spaces)
