Quick Consult on Streaming Video

I have a few questions for someone familiar with ffmpeg and streaming video. I have a website setup that will allow users to upload videos in mpg/avi format. I've tried 10 different formats (avi/divx/xvid/mpg1,mpg2 mpg4 etc) and uploaded them using my server php software which uses ffmpeg to convert them using -i -acodec mp3 -hq -ar 22050 -ab 64 -f flv -b 768 -aspect 4:3. Which converts the files to FLV. The files before they are converted look good on my video player in mpg/avi format. When I upload them and it converts them to FLV I start getting quite a bit of pixelization. However if I take the FLV file and download it and play it on my desktop it seems to look OK. I've also downloaded FLV's right from YouTube and then uploaded the FLV inplace of the file and the file plays much more clear. The Pixelization looks more feathered/smoothed. I've also tried multiple players on my site to see if the player itself would make a difference which it didn't so I believe it's a FFMPEG setting So my questions are: 1. Is this pixelation affect due to the limitations of ffmpeg quality itself? 2. Is there something I can do as far as ffmpeg switches to make the videos look better? 3. Suggestions, Ideas. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
