This project is for a law office which handles intellectual property cases of website in China which are selling knock off goods. So the company who is having fakes of their goods sold will send us a packet of information, identifying who these people are, what the websites are and what goods are being sold of those sites.
Currently that information is taken and plugged into standard letters, which are adjusted for plural/singular issues ("these websites are" vs. "this website is"). The problem with this has been mistakes are being made just due to the volume of letters that are sometimes being done so we are looking to automate the process a little bit so that a front-end user could enter the information on a given matter once, then select which types of letters should be generated from it and then .doc files could be exported from it. Would be testing the waters of trying it this new way by including three letter types.
Most of the information entered will be text fields but the goods involved should be check boxes where a user could check all the goods that are found on a given site and then the program would call up the relevant copyright marks for those goods and insert them into the letter.
Finally a storage/recall system should be apart of this so that the information entered to create a set of letters would be stored in a database and could be called back up to generate more letters based on the same information in the future.
The site would need to be secure as well.
