AUTO RESPONDER PROJECT
SUMMARY: I need a standard prefabricated Autoresponder to be set up with a customized user interface.
Users find an interface that looks like a multi “tell a friend” module. Ie: [url removed, login to view]
I'd like it to have 3 input fields for “friends” names and emails.
I'd like it to have an “Add Another” button which would cause another field to appear if the user wants to input more than just 3 friends. Demo this function at: [url removed, login to view]
The interface is linked up to the autoresponder as the input form.
This interface captures both names and emails of both the sender and receivers to be used with the autoresponder
Ideally I'd like this interface to be something simple such as a regular cgi form that would allow me to migrate it from one html page to another, or build around it.
In order to reduce time and costs I'd like to use a “prefabricated” autoresponder script, simply modified to work with the user interface.
The autoresponder will only add the “receivers” (3 friend) to the cue of messages, not the sender.
Set up of unlimited autoresponders
The autoresponder must have a “instant follow up message” that will be immediately sent to the recipients.
The autoresponder must have the ability for me to set up unlimited subsequent follow up messages
Ability to set amount of days between subsequent follow ups
Ability to manually send unique random messages to the entire database of “recipients.” ie: special offers
Personalization features, which will interact with the "Tell a friend" interface. ie: the typical %NAME%, and %EMAIL% tags can be used within follow up messages.
One area that I'm still trying to figure out is that I need the “first” message that's sent to the group of 3 friends to look at though it's coming from the sender.
I've discovered there appears to be a few challenges with this. Such as: 1) Do you know if their's a way to purge the “referring friends” (senders) name and or email and have it appear within the “From” field of the very first message that is sent off? And can this be done in a way that it will get through “spam filters” used by hotmail and large email providers? Based on my testing they appear to screen out some of these cloaked emails if it's showing a different email account than the server it's being sent from, or if it's not being sent from a major hosting companies email server?
The alternative would be have the “from address” show up as my company, but somehow have the ability to use some sort of: %REFERRING_FRIENDS% tag that could be used both in the “subject line” and “body” of the email. That way the receiving friends would immediately think that “their friend” sent this via my websites form, thus making it appear personalized and not appear as spam.
I'm on a somewhat tight budget which is why I was thinking there could be some cost savings by having this done ideally using existing prefabricated scripts. Also I need someone who can start on this immediately and be complete within 7 days max. I'm open to any suggestions you might have for the optimal solution for getting this project done.
