We are a telecommunications company based in NZ. We want a simple interface for our customers to login and view their calling history along with some other history from other services e.g. VoIP, and broadband usage.
The entire system is actually very simple in design and will be drawing data from multiple sources which will not require much manipulation at all.
For the Calling side, we will be uploading a CSV file daily with all the calls from our customers in it. All the customers calls for that day will be assigned to them. It will be done by account number which is in the file.
For the broadband usage we have a script from our supplier and its just a basic GET script and it just needs to be implemented so it does it all automatically.
The entire system will have two portals, both simple, one for ADMIN and one for USERS. The ADMIN will have some extra functionality and mainly just have a whole lot more web forms etc in it for back end processes.
The front end will be simply for a customer to login, view their account, etc, a list of things they can do will be:
View Call History (uplaoded from CSV)
View Broadband usage and connection history
ONly view their information
Update basic account information such as address etc
With the calling they will be able to search through calls, view by date of call, type of call (e.g. Land, Land to Cellular, or International etc - will explain this later).
There will be some usage graphs (bar graphs) with the usage for broadband and calling history.
There will be a link for them to pay their invoice via credit card (will provide this info and we have merchant facility setup already)
They will also be able to download their last bill in PDF format which we would have uploaded in the back end each month (we can provide a sample of all files).
