I've added a couple of features to the site, and they work, just not as perfectly as I would like. They just need to be tweaked my by a master and not messed with by an amateur.
I started playing with div layers in the white space on the sides of the main site, as well as the individual banner site. I have an early mockup of a flash video that I would like to play in the bottom right corner of the main site. I have it all set up, but would like for you to modify it so it only plays once per 3600 seconds for a visitor. I was able to get it to work perfectly on the [url removed, login to view] site, but was only able to hear the audio when it plays at any of the individual subdomains. I think it has to do with the frames. The video that plays on the main site will always be the same (I am using the t4ustuvid as a filler for now), but the video for the subdomains will vary based upon the u_ytbvideo field in the DB, a different video for individuals(t4ustuvid),prospective schools (ytbp2gvid), and enrolled schools (t4uschoolvid) which has yet to be created. I will be making them all the same resolution so they will easily be interchangeable, and will modify the height and width later when I finalize the videos. Just use the 2 videos I have to make it functional for now.
Also, I installed a random link button in another div layer on the main site, and it works great. The script is in /cgi_bin/[url removed, login to view] with the controling URL in /cgi_bin/[url removed, login to view] . I would like for all NEW users to be added to that file automatically upon creating an account with T4U. It doesn't need to deliniate between schools, or individuals, as I don't think there would be a way to do that without adding another field. I will just manually delete when a school comes onboard. Or maybe I won't... ;-)
BTW... if you think there is a better way to accomplish these tasks, I'm wide open to that.
Let me know if you have any questions... I'm not sure how clear I was.
