I require someone to create a script/software that will automate my google keyword tool query process. This will be making use of the Google AdWords keyword tool at [url removed, login to view] to provide an output as described briefly below.
EXAMPLE SOURCE AND DESTINATION FILES ARE ATTACHED.
Script should take a url list from an excel file (source file), then run each url into the AdWords tool to obtain the keywords suggested by the tool "based on website content". The box for "Group keywords by common terms" needs to be checked.
These keywords then need to be downloaded to an excel file (destination file ) in the specified format. The process will need to be repeated until the list of urls in the source file have been exhauseted. All results should go to the same destination file as shown in the attachment. In the attachment, you will see column entries for Column A and B are taken from the source file. Column C and E are the resulting grouped keywords from the google tool for the specific url. Column D should be taken from a prompt at the start of running the script (possible entries here would be Broad, Phrase, or Exact). All column headers should appear as in the example file.
There should also be a toggle box on the initial prompt to check if the source file will contain keywords instead of url. In the case that the box is checked, the script should use the google keyword tool in the "keyword" mode instead of "based on website content".
Must be able to deliver the finished job within 7 days maximum; Faster turn around is preferred.
Desktop or server based solution is ok. But if desktop, the software must run in the background while the computer is in use for other tasks. I will be using this to batch process 50-200 url or keywords at a time, so it must run to completion with source files of that size. Speed is not really critical here, each query takes a while from google anyway.
Any of the below file types for source/destination are ok, but my preference is in the order below:
