We have developed a job search engine intended to help educators (teachers, administrators, and support staff) find jobs in the United States. We are pulling job posting info from many web sites into the search engine, which displays very basic info and links back to the original web site - a meta search engine. These were originally done with Cold Fusion, but we're translating them to perl. We've done several, but don't have time or the expertise to do them all. This initial project includes 5 sites, but we will post additional projects for the 20 to 30 additional sites we need done.
The perl script for each site needs to post a form, loop through search results, retrieve basic job information, and insert it into a database. Some scripts will require working with cookie/session variables.
Based on the scripts we've already written and/or outsourced, it should take 1 to 2 hours for each site/script.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: complete working perl scripts and any required modules must be delivered via email attachment to the Buyer. Buyer will install in Buyer's environment and may ask for assistance with installation.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Perl scripts will run on a Win 2003 Server and connect to a SQL Server 2000 database
