I am searching for answer for this question,
I am doing an auction site which I would want to include the feature that buyer can pay seller through Paypal directly, just like what ebay is doing, plug in a "pay now" button in buyer's transaction history, and able to catch the response by my server and then mark the transaction as "paid".
Paypal requests AccountA to put the respond URL in his IPN feature field to indicate where the IPN response will be sent to, for example, user of AccountA will need to put [[url removed, login to view]] in his IPN feature section in order to receive response, and user has to do so after login into his account and set it. Can I indicate where the IPN response URL in side my code for the "pay now" button, so I can get the response on my server, just for that auction transaction? I assume if I ask the my auction seller to put IPN URL in their paypal account, that is troublesome and all of the payment transaction will send response to my server, which is not what I want, I only want auction transaction payment from my server to be sent to my server, so I can get a response and do something accordingly.
