The scope of the project is to write two apps - one in native Symbian c++ and the other using J2ME MIDP.
Both apps have a UI and they can be switched from foreground to background according to user interaction (button click) or inter process communication using the local loopback channel.
please read this High Level Architecture document for further details (download and save as zip file).
The project includes packaging and installation issues including SIS/JAD signing, single installation (both SIS and JAD), boot registration API and MIDP Push Registration.
I am looking for a strong Symbian C++ programmer with experience in both native Symbian UI/daemon apps and JAVA MIDP 2.0 apps programming.
familiarity with the [Symbian Midlet Native Services Framework] is a big advantage.
