Search Bar In Oscommerce Based Website

My webpage needs a Search Bar optimization. The webpage is [url removed, login to view] and needs to upgrade its search bar to something like this:

The search result box layout must be like these (some things might be omitted or deleted, just an example):

The website has been done with the oscommerce online merchant software with PHP, MySQL and CSS languages. I just need to add a drop down menu with all the categories (including subcategories) and another dropdown to narrow down the search keywords to the specified field in the database. There is a function that calls categories and subcategories in the oscommerce default functions so the new thing to add is the keyword drop down.

## Deliverables

The project has two phases. The first one involves the modification of the actual search bar to a new one with two drop down menus where the customer can choose the category and then a keyword to narrow down the search. If the customer does not select any specific category the search must be done within all the existing categories and subcategories. But if he selects a keyword, for example cast and crew, the query must be done in the field that contains those search words within all the categories. Also if you select and specific category but no keyword the search must be done in that category but in all the fields. If nothing is chosen, then all the fields are searched. The product search keywords are located in a database called product_to_product_extra_fields and the name and description in another called product_to_products. You can see the arrangement y the keyword Search Fields In database image attached in the zip archive. The final look of the bar can be seen in Final website.jpg. Oscommerce works with two archives... [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] I dont know if you can modify it or rewrite your own code, the only thing that I need to be clear is that in the array I must be able to see all the categories no matter when I create a new one (you can call a default function in oscommerce that parse all the categories in the database, so no need to point to them manually) and the code must be clear enough for me to add more keywords in the near future if I add a new category or service.

The second part of the project might involve the layout of the search results. The actual search result box can be seen in the Actual Search Result [url removed, login to view] while the layout I would like to have is Final Search Result Box.jpg. These can be achived by changing the [url removed, login to view] products layout.

Anything you need do not hesitate in contacting me. I have modified this site myself from scratch but I do not have the required expertise and time to do this myself. There is a logical Tree in Search bar tree layout to briefly understand what I'm looking for.
