I want a fully functional customer portal for my website. This must be able to be edited with all common web page editing software. The visual design of the portal is not important. Once it is working well we have graphics people that will make it pleasing to the eye.
ASP scripting and MS Access DB is
Data will be kept on an Access db that is running on the web server.
The purpose of this portal is to allow clients to pick up their documents that we create for them and to receive messages from us.
Customers must register to access their documents the first time. When they get access to their "customer" only landing area they will have two choices - their "private" folder and a "public" folder and any messages we want to place on their landing page from time to time - everybody gets access to the "public" folder. There will be an administrator account that can access all folders.
Documents are assigned to clients by a five digit "FOLIO" number. A client can have access to more than one folio but only if we have "connected" the folio to their account (You tell us how to do this). We will provide a universe of folio numbers but for testing 10000-11000 will work fine.
When we post a new document for a client the system should send them an email letting them know that it is ready for pickup.
Documents will all be PDF, clients can read, print, fill-in but NOT change.
Please let me know in case you have any [url removed, login to view] remember time is very critical here that is 5 days [url removed, login to view] need to have very eaye catching design and all we have different design team.
