Go to any company page on LinkedIn (i.e. [url removed, login to view]). Scroll down the page a bit to the "Recent Updates" section. Most of the content in this Recent Updates feed will have a "Share" button. If you click the "Share" button, a window will pop up with numerous sharing options. If you select "LinkedIn Groups", you can enter in the groups you belong to - you must start typing in the name of a group you're a member of and a drop down will appear with the full name of the group. You must select the group from the drop down list in order for it to be added to the "Group(s)" field.
On LinkedIn, you can be a member of up to 50 groups. I want the process I described above to be automated with the ability to do this from multiple accounts.
I've had 2 people attempt this project, but they both seem to have had trouble when it came to selecting the group from the drop down list so I highly suggest making sure you understand this feature before bidding on this project. I don't have any preferences as to how this project is delivered as long as I am able to specify which groups I want to share the content with (perhaps the script could read a CSV file to determine which groups belong to which accounts, and the content would only be shared with those groups listed in the CSV file).
Ideally, this could be automated with a cron job so I can have it run twice a day. This means the script should also have a way to prevent sharing the same content over and over. LinkedIn actually tells you how long ago content was shared so maybe the script could have something like if the content was shared anytime between 12 to 24 hours, the script should ignore the content.
