This script worked originally, on the programmer's server, but now it doesn't work on mine. See it here:

(Ignore the ugly format and style - that's the next project.)
The script was written in PHP and pulls content from a MYSQL database. When you select either 'Pundit A', 'Pundit B', or 'Pundit C' from the select box and then click the Submit button, the entries in the text field should change.
They don't change. Instead, an error message appears.
Next, when you click an entry in the text box, a new Web page should appear corresponding to your selection.
That doesn't happen, either.
I'm sure the fix is quite simple for someone who knows PHP/MYSQL.
I will, naturally, provide a copy of the PHP script and the HTML source code, and I'll also provide temporary access to my server (CPANEL) for any changes that need to be made to the MYSQL database.
I've been wasting time and money on this very, very simple script for days now, and I want to get it working as soon as possible.
Prior to release of the money from escrow, I want to see the script working properly on my server, and I want at least minimal annotations made to the source code so I can understand how the script works.
