Hi, which info do you need to log ? Directly to write into a database, or are the printable logs good enough, only to be checked in case of need ? Do you have "Free Hotspots" (anonymous usage), or requiring some type of registration before (radius-based AAA) ? And which hardware do you use for the hotspots ? I am familar with hotspots based on Mikrotik, open-mesh,openwrt, debian/ubuntu. https-logs are not very informative, because of encryption. There are various possibilities, from simple logs, to be evaluated only in case of need, until smart data-base. So it will influence the price very much.

I'm experienced for setting hotspot login with web based login. I usually use MikroTik devices. Login with https with SSL Verified Certified example Comodo SSL,DigiCert etc.

Hi , I already implemented a similar solution (community hotspot ) for Livebox residential gateways (similar solution is deployed by etisalat ) . the solution is based on a linux 802.1X agent/forwarder and a radius server for authentication.
