I was working for a retail company, which deal in retail domain. so we are having Back office system from where all products, order, delivery, promotion are managed. We are also having hand held application windows ce based, so that run on hand held device. The process for HHC application as follows. First we put the HHC application on cradle then do receive data(All product details from Back office ) HHC is having below modules. 1. Order( User can scan the items and create the order, As user finish the order, we do "send data" to Back office , the HHC app make one csv file and send to Back office predefined folder, that we use in our Back office to create the order in details) CSV file contains Barcode, Qty 2. Delivery: If deliveries come to the store then user scan the physical items and create one deliver and save it. then he put the hand held on cadle and send data to Back office, the file is also have csv format and places back office. So yes we can provide you a solution, for creating the csv file i can give you a web based application where you will manage the products. and can export data to csv. that csv you can store in your system and can send to Hand held terminal. On terminal you create the stock , if barcode not found then we can give alert message later on you can receive both the files as csv and do as you need.
