I need a media player and administration tool that can do the following:
Take a media file such as a .Mov file or WMF (windows media file)movie file and import it into my administration tool.
Import it into my administration tool that has a timelime display and a display of the .mov file so I can jump back and forth to other parts of the .mov file by clicking on a specific area of the timelime.
I need to be able to add a transparent layer throughout the media file and hotspot items by putting on a small dot on the item i want to hotspot along with a URL during certain portions of the media file by having it interact with the timelime of the movie so everything on my transparent layer shows up when it should.
(Please see attached rough sketch) - I want nice looking GUI.
Url basically means when they are in my media player if they click that specific spot a new Internet browser window opens and goes to that url programmed for that spot.
Now after I go through and finish my work I need to republish the file in the correct format example: .Mov file I assume something like a seperate embeded File that was the transparent layer would have to be passed and embeded with the .MOV file (I do not want to have two seperate files), however, when the viewer would view the .Mov file in my media player my hotspotted layer would have to have the ability to be turned on or off as desired.
By the way, when the viewer uses the media player the transparent layer overtop of the mov file should continue to play along with the timeline of the mov file so even if they turn it off halfway through and turn it back on in the last 30 seconds of the mov file if there is a hotspot on the timeline during that time it should show up accordingly. However, the default needs to be that its allways on unless they toggle it not to display but continue to run accordingly with the media clip.
If you can accomplish this and give me an administration tool with a GUI that shows XP manifest look and not the old button look seen on win 98-2000, I would also want a nice splash screen that loads when the tool starts up, and media player with GUI to test this.
This project can expand for the bid winner.
I would also like some short brief documentation on how you understand my project prior to programming begining.
I would own all source codes (with commented code) and all other rights.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
XP Standard, Home and Professional, and Windows 2000. Eventually I would want to take this to Macintosh.
