I need a database to catalog and access documents and memos created in Word, Excel, pdf, etc. I don’t recall the proper term, but it needs to have a separate user interface so I can update the database without changing everything. It needs a user form for entering the data. I want to be able to search by Author, Date, Subject, and especially keyword. The database will eventually be used on an Intranet and it should be able to retrieve the desired files. Making it Web based would be especially nice.
