We require someone who is able to pull information using the Amazon API service.
This person is required to write a service for an Amazon Webserver and then download the information to our own server on a daily basis, which will be able to extract information from all books currently listed on Amazon UK including:
ISBN, ISBN13, ASIN, UPC, Title, Rank, New Prices, Used Prices and Condition, Number of Sellers.
The person will also be able to locate any new items listed and this service is to run once every 24 hours and stored in an SQL Database in an historical way using normalisation rules.
Furthermore, the coder must be able to extract information to downloadable format for use on WM6 PDA's and display and search this information on the PDA for our book buying team. The PDA program is to also make decision based on rules we create daily, so this also need to have a platform to update and download.
I have just increased this proposal to a large business project and as such require on coders who can work to high standard and offer all require work and will be able to be retained for upgrading. We will also require a inventory program building in the future, this will be web based.
KNOWLEDGE OF AMAZON SERVICES A MUST!! We will be taking advice from the assigned coder on how this should work

If the right person does this work, ideally that person would have skills in data manipulation, mobile windows and be willing to consider future work with a retainer in place.
We are also looking at getting more work done on an inventory system for Amazon UK as well as an E-Commerce Website with a lot of functionality

What I have just done, is created a higher level brief to the project which may outline in more detail what we are trying to achieve.
Due to restrictions on Amazon, we will have to use and Amazon Service as a main database but then download the information to our server from there.
We need full co-operation from the coder to make this work and someone very very knowledgeable regarding Amazon Practises is paramount
