I am acquiring data from a DAC running at 60M samples/sec. I am running under windows 2000, with a program written in VB. The data is acquired by a function call to a dll written by the DAC manufacturer. A picturebox object is being used to draw the data, using the .line method. However, I have problems with speed to draw and refresh the picture object since the data flow is too fast. I was advised to do it using directX routines or using some object written in C++. I need someone to give me an estimate on the cost to speed up the drawing. We are plotting about 2000 points in about 10ms but we need to improve it to 1ms.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. The program should be kind of like a subroutine or activeX object or an example easy to paste program for vb coders. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
