File encryption, CRC, map and pull

Summary: Require a pair program to encrypt (program A) and decrypt (program B) text files. _Details for Program A (to be installed in PC 1):_ 1. Perform CRC checksum calculation on file, write to an index file (persistent ADO file) with columns filename, filesize, checksum, datecreated etc. 2. Perform encryption on file using Microsoft Base Cryptographic Provider v1.0 with possible encyption algorithm RC2, RC4, DES, Triple-DES. _Details for Program B (to be installed in PC 2):_ 1. Read from a configuration file, map to PC 1 directory, copy all files (encrypted + index file) in that folder to local directory. 2. Require configuration screen for above. 3. Once files have been copied over, perform decryption. 4. Perform CRC on files, raise error if checksum do not match. 5. Local directory needs to be hidden (is it possible it can't be unhidden from explorer?). _General_ Need to be COM based.
