VB or VB.net destio app using wininet - automating IE workflow(repost)

Basic requirement is to poll a website awaiting an event. The event is time based and occurrs on the hour ( or one or two minutes afterwards). The event is a new dynamic page will appear with a html form available for data entry to begin processing orders.

Through the VB application, I would like to provide a few data entry fields to allow pre-selecting of values that will appear on this html form. Using these values on the VB form, have them entered into the html form for a post call. At that point, I would like the browser displayed to the screen so the user of the application can continue with the processing(next html page appears after the http post). The user will then complete the transaction from there, the program gives control to the interactive user.

Note: This was initial posted as a proof-of-concept and completed personally by me in 2004-2005. This is why the listing was originated over a year and a half ago. But we are now ready to move forward on development. This POC was done using VB and wininet dll to post the form data. This was done using hard-coded techniques of values for the html form. So I know this will work. What's needs to be done is the following

The html form object names are dynamic, so the polling routine will actually have to find the name of the html control for resubmit using post. These are pretty standard as far as only 1 form will exist on the page, and only a few html objects are there too. Some code can be written to parse the html data returned and determine the proper fields for entry.

In addition, a vb form will be needed for value entry by the end-user. Thirdly, packaging all the code and making a deployable desktop application is also required. This application should run on all standard microsoft os's (windows xp standard and professional)

All, ready to move forward. Please get bids in.

I have some additional detail on how I would like to move forward

More detail

In most cases, I will be select quantity of 2 from the FULL PRICE TICKET section, all the additional sections will be ignoed. But my fault is I can give you several html forms and we can consider them templates to base your vb form off of. If the dynamic form is structured slightly differently, just use a best guess fit of values.

Here is some additoinal detail....

My thought, is I can take about 5 standard html pages (or what I will call templates) from ticketmaster. The user will select a template at start of your vb application. You will t hen load this as a template into your visual basic form.

When the dynamic form comes up on the actually page on ticketmaster's site, it will be similiar in structure as the template, but the form object names are dynamic and cannot be anticipated and values may be slightly different. You can dynamically parse the raw html text to determine how many form objects, and use some best fit procedure to take our template values and fit them into the new form, and if it doesn't match, just take default values of the form. The point here in most cases I will take the default, so if the form is a bit different, take defaults. Also, the values in the listboxes may change. So, when you build the template, just use an ordinal number in the listbox (1,2,3,4).. I can anticipate which ordinal number to use (e.g. on third listbox, use 3rd value in list). You don't need to put the actual values in the lisboxes from the template, and you may not know it as the template is relaly only giving you the basic form structure and objects, values will change (e.g... ticket prices for each event are different).

Remember, once i activate the program on an html page, it's a jsp page which is just showing static html text. On the hour or a few minutes after, it will change to the dynamic form.. at that point, you will automatically best fit my values from xml or vb form into the fields and submit the form. If an new object appears not found in the template, use default. If an ordinal location I selected is not available, just take default in html form. Always take default. The user will then see the next html page for entering the word recognition value, which is the next page after posting the form.

Hope this is clear.. looking forward to your response
