.net project to search display and append data in sql tables(repost)

I have a customer that sells parts for sewing machines. <[login to view URL]> There are literally hundreds of thousands of unique part numbers. I have those parts on a cd provided by the supplier. The data is in a txt format so I have imported it ito a sql table. Lets call that table A. Table A LOOKS LIKE THIS (KEYFIED)[login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL],[login to view URL] etc Seperate to "A" Database is a sql products table called Bvc_products lets call it "B" In it are the products that are displayed on the website. My idea is to put a link on his website that will take the customer to the "a" database search box. The customer will imput some value in the search box and hit search. like <[login to view URL],,Keyword> but that is tied to "b" database. The search will look for that value and then display the results of the search. ## Deliverables 1)If his search is sucessful As he clicks the results for more detail the code should see if the item exist in the B database. If it does. Display the the [login to view URL] page. <[login to view URL],,productid,,DDL-8300N> If it does not then create a new product in the "b" database on the fly and then display the [login to view URL] after the new product is added. Sometimes we will have a part number but we do not know what it cost. In that case If the product has a [login to view URL] of "<1 or >999999" then display "email for price" on the productinfo page. If that happens the code needs to insert the [login to view URL] into a new sql table lets call it "c" The purpose of this tabel will be for us to update prices and send the customer a quote. it will contain the [login to view URL](autonumber),[login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL] etc. A new aspx page will need to be created lets call it pricequotes.aspx. It will enjoin the [login to view URL] on [login to view URL] select [login to view URL], [login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL] etc. All fields should be editable except id. There should be an update data button and a send quote to customer button. When update button is hit the record is updated. When send quote is hit the a email should email to the customersomething like /[login to view URL],,productid,,[[login to view URL]]. Use a Editable templates like those in the sql table called dbo_bvc_EmailTemplate When the email is sent have it mark the "[login to view URL]" as sent Since the [login to view URL] is now checked it will no longer display in this new [login to view URL] page. Important have the "[login to view URL]" allow duplicates as I can see that it is possible for a siteprice to accidently change to <1 or >999999 and reappear for a different customer. 2)If his search is not sucessfull prompt customer to "request a quote" . ## Platform sql2000 windows2003 windows2000
