eCommerce WEB SITE design (wholesale trade)

Looking for an experience ecommerce web site designer with creative thinking that will be able to produce a web site with the characteristics described below and help us with design ideas and technical solutions. Excellent communication and ability to complete the work in time agreed is a must. We also should be educated on how to manage the web site, upload files to the server etc. Upon successful completion we may continue working together on other jobs. We’ll only consider web designers who are able to present their previous work in ecommerce industry. - Easy to navigate, has clean and professional look,(think hi-end web sites) - Pages should be fast to download. - Secure web site. - Search engine friendly. Contains: - Informational pages; - Online product catalog; - Search engine – browse products by price, brand etc - Secure shopping cart and checkout. - Integrated stock and order management system (ideally); - Administrative tool that will allow us to manage the web site: add and edit info pages, categories in the catalogue, products in the categories etc. - Users’ account management: create an account, log in, change password, view order status etc. Oscommerce or any other popular shopping carts could be used but should be optimised to achieve clean, professional look (should not look like DIY web site) .We have several websites to use as a sample – we’ll send the links to the shortlisted web developers for a final quote.
