Integrate FMyScript with new Blog, possibly WordPress, but open to suggestions. FMyScript premium theme demo is at: http://premium.fmyscript.com. Script is written in PHP and utilizes MySql via PHPMyAdmin.
Sample of general design elements as described below to be sent later. We are looking for some creativity to make it all come together.
Website to feature a main story (blog) that allows administrator to post chapters like in a book. Administrator will need to be able to submit pictures along with each chapter. The site will allow readers to comment on the story ([url removed, login to view]), and will also allow readers to reply to the comments to form a comment with reply string. The comment section will be similar to [url removed, login to view], and will likely require integration with modification of the script.
We will moderate comments and replies as per script.
We want all pages of the site to follow a similar design theme with advertising possibilities on each page, which FMyScript comes with.
Our site will be publishing and releasing one chapter of a book at a time (blog form). The FMyScript will actually be for readers to comment on the story as they read the chapters.
Our Home Page custom design will include the following tabs: Home, Story Page, Comment, and Login. These will be the same throughout the site. Below that will be a comment box (what FMyScript currently calls the story, but we want to call it a comment) for users to submit their comment up to 300 characters. This should be similar to FMyScript Submit Story box. See also SixBillionSecrets.com.
Below that on left, display the first part (15 - 25 lines) of the most recent posted chapter of the story with a link to continue to end of story, and a link to past chapters (Story Page). Obviously, there will be a need to integrate blogging software. Below that in a box should be the static Story Summary.
To the right of the story should be posted comments (approved by moderator)in chronological order with reader being able to use FShare, Tweet and G+1 ; and below that should be the author and posting date (features that come with FMyScript). These are very similar to boxes that you can see on the premium theme home page demo as noted above. Boxes need to be sized appropriately, and they will not contain pictures. The comments should stream down the side (1/3 page width?), displaying the last 5 or 6 coomments. Below should be a link to the full COMMENT page for More Comments (This Comment page would basically be similar to the FMyScript Home Page. It is also where ALL comments can be found, including the the 5 or 6 most recent that will also be on the Home page of our site).
At bottom of home page should be the following links and text:
Copyright © 2012 Switch to Mobile site Show Text Only
Advertising boxes should be included per FMyScript or other suggestions.
COMMENT PAGE = something very much like FMyScript premium theme home page. Colors of page will need to be changed. FMyScript uses the term "Story" for what we call "Comment". What they call "Comment", we call "Reply". Names will have to be changed on website.
STORY PAGE (Blog) to include:
1. Approximately 25 lines of current chapter with link to continue reading the remainder of the chapter.
2. List of previous chapters with about 5 - 10 lines from the beginning of the chapter, with links to continue to the rest of the chapter.
3. A box with Full Background Story
New chapters need to be able to be posted easily with pictures/images.
The first 15 - 25 lines of the most current chapter on the Story Page will also be on the Home Page as described above.
We will purchase the FMyScript license, premium theme, Mobile Website Module and Copyright Removal Rights.
Pages should have a box with text encouraging readers to sign-up for a user account. We need to make sure that users cannot track their own posts because we want to promise that posts will remain anonymous.
We need to make sure that anyone can post without becoming a member. This may require a script modification.
