we have two websites, working to common goal
site#1 has coppermine & SMF, coppermine used to post pictures for identification. needs to create & display forum thread below picture, for full discussion of pic.
forum entry also viewed in the normal manner(forum view) & have button in first post (if applicable) "Gallery Veiw" (not all forum topics need a gallery entry)
Gallery upload needs many more Custom Fields (with pulldown menus)
Search needs to be common SMF/Coppermine, and have new fields from coppermine.
Coppermine needs colour of skin to match SMF theme already installed
Site#2 Will be incident reports. MOD SMF? data capture by 3 forms
form(A) routing questions form1 initial report, form2 additional report
form(A) to route traffic to site#1, in hope of picture match. button in site#1 coppermine "This is Him" routes back to site#2, inserts site#1 search parameters into form1.
"He's not here" button to make new coppermine&forum entry (default pic) using search parameters for custom fields - and route back to site#2 -inserts site#1 search parameters into form1.
form1 is about 15 custom fields + custom fields from site#1(pulldown menus) and about 20 tickbox/keywords
form1 "Submit" also to route (again) to site#1 coppermine entry, (user asked just "to check the coppermine description(custom fields)" invisibly (without asking) inserts http://site#2 incident post(in a forum reply) not to matter if user OK's coppermine entry or not
is this too much detail or not enough?
