Yanchep Red Hawks Junior Football Club Project Brief Please refer to the attached project brief before bidding. Please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. Site to be constructed using Joomla 1.5 as the platform Site Colour Scheme to be Red, White and Blue. Designer to deliver template concept in jpg or PDF format for consideration and acceptance prior to building the php template. The designer will be responsible for the look and feel of the site and will be required to take inspiration from the club uniform. All logos and images for a design layout will be provided at the time of the contract being awarded Site will require Photo gallery such as Phoca Gallery or similar in order that client has the ability to manage the photo albums easily Site will require Calendar component such as JEvents or similar in order that the client may manager the calendars easily Site will require Forms component such as RS Forms Pro or Similar in order that additional forms may be created by the client in the future Site will require rotating banner images module. Images to link to specific articles – Refer “Gold Sponsors” block in wireframe (Addendum 1) – Banner height to be no more than 250 pixels. Designer to advise actual size of images required. There will be four images provided. Client must have the ability to change images and links subsequent to contract completion Site will require Rotating image logo in right column. Images to link to specific articles – Refer “Silver Sponsors” block in wireframe (Addendum 1) – Rotating images to be 250px X 250 px. There will be four images provided. Client must have the ability to change images and links subsequent to contract completion Home Page to be constructed per wireframe (Addendum 1) Site to be constructed with a two column layout as per the wire-frame layout (Addendum 1a) Site content to be as per site plan (Addendum 2) – All content will be provided Article Sections and Categories to be as per Content Specification (Addendum 3) Vertical Menus to be provided for sections relating to the main menu (Addendum 4) All content and images will be provided by the client. Lorem Ipsum text will be permitted as placeholders The ‘Contact Us’ page will require a contact form, address details and a google map The successful candidate will be required to provide a timeline with dates for the various elements of the contract (Initial Design, Template Coding, Site Structure construction, Component installation, Menu construction, etc)

Please read my bid - its not a copy/paste bid - I am a very good choice for this project not only am I a Joomla expert I am also heavily involved with my local football club. I have built a few football club sites in the past. I will show you links to my latest site which has just about every feature that you point out in your document. I understand how to run football clubs ( I am a board member at mine) and also understand a good structure to the site. Since I rebuilt the site we have seen a lot more traffic to the site and already six times the amount of match reports and photos than last year already. The youth and the parents of the club are really engaging the new site because I have made it very simple for them to post new content via the front end of the site. I have an automatic system in place that takes all the scores for 50 teams and makes league tables etc for them. I also have a more in depth system which is not automatic for displaying upcoming games and also results. One thing that has really helped the site is the fact that everything on the site is automatically published to Facebook and Twitter, this is great for days just like today where it is snowing and tonight's training is called off - not only is the content on the site but people also can see on facebook and twitter that the training is off. Next season I will be extending this to a full on android/iphone app that users can get important news and results direct into an app. I have excellent communications skills and also speak in perfect English (because I am English) so there will be lost in translation problems here. I have done a few sites for Australian clients before and found it very easy to get things done with them.
