I am currently using the same header design for all components of my website. It's created with dhtml, images, and css. When I make a change to the header, I need to update the file for each of the following components:
1. [url removed, login to view]
2. [url removed, login to view]
3. [url removed, login to view]
I use #2 above as the global header for all non-forum related pages (such as [url removed, login to view]). This header file is included in the non-forum pages as a php include.
I have heavily modified the forum software (Invision) to use the same header that I use on #1 and #2, and it works fine. However, I'm in the process of developing a news component powered by vivvo, and the templates only allow XHTML. Having said that, I need the same header design for all components of my website (to make it seem all part of the same website to users). Therefore I need a navigation menu created in XHTML, which has all of the same links that are currently available. I understand the look may need to change and that's something I'm fine with - I actually encourage the change. But I need a global header compatible with all components - #1, #2, #3, and my new #4 vivvo component. I'd like to take this opportunity to redesign my global header to become more attractive and more stable with all browsers.
If you are qualified for this project, please submit to me a rough draft (even if it's just a screenshot or sketch) and I will contact you. Like I said, I'd like to take this opportunity to create a new header which is extremely user friendly, attractive, simple, stable, yet powerful AND have it compatible as a php include, can be used on my forums, and within xhtml vivvo component.
