Small Wordpress theme modification

We currently have a blog at [url removed, login to view] and we would like our estalished wordpress custom theme modified (our regular designer hasn't got time at present to undertake the work herself).

We would like an additional sidebar on the left hand side of the blog and some of the elements moved e.g. category listing) over from the right hand sidebar. The fixed width would be extended to 1024 pixels to acccomodate this.
