I want to develop a web application to be run ideally off a mobile phone. I need the application to be made using HTML, PHP and MySQL. I know that there are other ways of doing this that would be more attractive i.e. using [url removed, login to view] or creating an android app but unfortunately HTML, PHP and MySQL are the only options I have to use as a development environment.
I have included some screenshots of what I need the website to look like. The website will only ever be run on a mobile device such as an iPhone or other smart phone. It is for my own use only!
I want a website that will allow the user to gather data for a sports team during a game. For example football. In simple terms what I want to do is that each time a particular player carries out a certain action in the game, I want the user of the application to tap on screen that players number i.e. Player 1, and then to record the action which that player has carried out. For example , that they have scored a goal, or that they have been sent off.
When the action has been recorded, I want the user to be returned to the main screen again where the user can then record the next action that has occured in the game for a different player. This is best described in the attached file named "Prototype Screenshots".
When an action has been recorded I want this information to be written to the MySQL database immediately and time-stamped.
At any point during a game, I may need to see how a certain player is doing. So I want to also have a Dashboard of information with graphs of different Key Performance Indicators to let me know how my team is performing. This is where things get a little complicated. The data during the game will be collected and recorded using a mobile device as I said, but I want to have the Dashboard of Information on a separate device - ideally a laptop or an iPad. The mobile device and the iPad / laptop would have to be connected to each other somehow (perhaps via a wifi connection?) and the dashboard will have to update in real-time to reflect the data that has been recorded on the mobile device.
The project itself is relatively simple and straight forward I would imagine for a developer with a good knowledge of html and php coding. I myself have a relatively good knowledge of these but I do not have the necessary time to dedicate to this project over the coming weeks. The basic functionality is explained in the attached screenshots and we can discuss it in further detail if you have any questions. Many thanks, Shaun
