Hi, We have encountered an error with one of our new application modules that may have begun with a corrupted or incompatible Windows file. The application was working previously on two of our test computers, and now cannot be opened on these computers. Specifically, we get an error message of: ...invalid page fault in module [login to view URL] at 018f:bff7b9a6. We are also getting this error with a few [but only a few] other programs on these computers. The problem IS related to all of these programs, but there has been no luck in tracking the problem down. We have replaced some dll files with what are believed to be the correct and uncorrupted versions, such as" [login to view URL], [login to view URL], and a few versions of msvbvm60.dll. This has not fixed the problem. Most all other programs on these two identical computers have are working ok. These computers are running Windows 98SE, with IE 6. Enclosed is a zip file with two unrelated third-party programs that are giving this error message when trying to open. These programs started giving this error at the same time, a few days ago, possible due to an update of a third program not included here. This third program now also gives that error, even though it was uninstalled and the previously working version was re-installed. We are looking for a solution by a coder who is able to replicate this page fault on his/her own computer, and determine what the precise cause is likely to be, without merely guessing. If the problem is caused by one of the dependent dll files for these programs, it needs to be determined why it is only effecting these programs and not most others that also may use these dependent files. We need some help here. Thanks. michaelsoft
