I am using Thesis (wordpress framework) as a childtheme for BuddyPress. The basic structure works all right - with one exception, that is the "create a new site" procedure which is missing the "header" layout somehow. This header layout consists of a header image and the main menue - appearing on each page; but the "create a new site" is missing a template somehow (the menu itself and the functionality of the menu is there!). Who has solid experience with BuddyPress development and is able to correct this "layout issue"? This is the first task I´ve want to be accomplished.
Later on I would like to have procedure in php written, that "read" information from BuddyPress like names of the created blog and some custom fields from these blogs (for example a custom field could be named "cathegory" and I want to get the content of that field). In a second step, the retrived data should be stored in an array or a database. Will discuss details with developer - guess, this is not such a big thing (making use of the BuddyPress loop routines) but asks for a person already knowledgeble in BuddyPress.
