I’m looking for a WordPress plugin that will create a new ‘Users by Role’ menu item, where each role in the system gets its own submenu. So there would be a submenu for ‘Editors’, and another for ‘Authors’, etc., including any custom roles that may already be in system.
When a user clicks on the, say, ‘Editors’ submenu, they’ll see a page almost identical to the current [url removed, login to view], except it will only show users with the role of ‘Editor’
Similarly, if the user clicks the ‘Authors’ submenu, she will only see a list of authors.
* The Role links (All | Administrator | Auditor, etc.) should be removed
* The Add New button will be replaced with ‘Add New Editor’, or whatever.
When adding the new user, the role selection input should be locked to the pre-selected role.
* There must be some way to configure Roles that do not appear on this list (like Administrator & Subscriber)
The intention is to use this with the ’Admin Columns,’ plugin, so standard practices should be followed.
When bidding, please explicitly reference other WordPress plugins you have developed.
