Hi,

A client of mine is in the process of building their internal intranet and are using WordPress as a back end. Wordpress is sitting on an Apache server in a WAMP install.

They are after a custom widget that can talk to their Exchange 2007 server through Exchange Web Services (EWS) to display each individual users unread message count on the intranet page. So if user X opens up the intranet, there is a little text widget that shows how many unread messages they have. They would also like it to display their next 2 appointments from their outlook calendar.

I also need it to pull in their Active Directory account name and email address for a form that they can fill in to send off a service desk request. I would prefer that the user doesn't have to log in every time they open the intranet, rather that it works from their active directory user settings.

The widget needs to be built in PHP with the possibility of AJAX and XML required too.

I would prefer that this widget is a generic widget that I can specify the server settings etc in the wordpress admin dashboard. That way I don't have to give out my client's details.

On going work for the right person.

Regards

Paul
