The site I need this project done for is at www.ashleyvalleyrealty.com. It's a real estate site and has a web service integrated into it that connects with the local MLS company's database to look up house listings etc. There is a problem with some of the search functions. There are actually 6 separate search pages:
[url removed, login to view] to search for residential listings
[url removed, login to view] to search for multi-family listings
[url removed, login to view] to search for land listings
[url removed, login to view] to search for farm and ranch listings
[url removed, login to view] to search for commercial listings
[url removed, login to view] to search for apartment listings (this one is not really used because we don't really have any apartment listings here, so it's not linked from anywhere, but the page is there anyways, and if the rest of them gets fixed then this one will need to be fixed too).
The problem is this, if a user is searching for a listing, let's use a residential listing as an example. Some (most) of the search criteria don't work when searching.
Type: (seems to work correctly)
Style: (doesn't display just the style selected, seems to display all styles)
Price Range: (seems to work correctly)
Year Built: (doesn't display just the year selected, seems to display all years)
Minimum Square Feet: (doesn't display just the minimum square feet selected, seems to display all square feet)
Minimum Acreage: (seems to work correctly)
Minimum Bedrooms: (doesn't display just the minimum bedrooms selected, seems to display all bedrooms)
Minimum Baths: (seems to work correctly)
Minimum Garage Size: (doesn't display just the garage size selected, seems to display all garage sizes)
Open Houses: (this is a checkbox and it doesn't seem like it pulls up only open house listings)
Wheelchair Access: (this is a checkbox and it doesn't seem like it pulls up only wheelchair accessible listings when selected)
Each of the 6 different search pages have different search criteria, above was an example of the residential search page. If you click all of the links, you will see what I mean. (you can also see which search criteria don't work on the other search pages by trying them). They all have search criteria that works and that doesn't work. I need a programmer that can figure out why the ones that are not working aren't working and fix them so the search functions properly. The WFRMLS (the MLS company that we connect to that has the listings database) has documentation that I can get to you. Unfortunately it's all on their web site in html pages, I would need to get them into a pdf or something to get to you because I can't give anyone my login information for my vendor account there. So there is documentation that will help. I need someone who can do this quickly. I do have a small budget, but I think that someone familiar with PHP/XML/MySQL would be able to figure it out pretty quickly.
Please ask if you have ANY questions, I don't really take bidders seriously when they don't ask questions unless they are posting with specific solutions they are going to do to complete the project. Please no bidders who say we have plenty of experience but then don't acknowledge the needs of this project specifically. I will completely ignore those types of bids.
