I'll be doing all the designs for a website, but I need someone to handle all the programming. Nothing to fancy, here are the details.
The pages are:
• About Us
• Customer Access
• Employee Access
• Administrator Access
• Secure Shopping Cart
• Contact Us
The Customer Access area needs to have a logon script, but will just take them to an area for free-ware/share-ware downloads, news of virus warnings or updates, etc.
The Employee Access area must be secure and have a logon for the employee. Each employee logon in must be isolated from other employees, but where the information will integrate on an administrative page that I can access for accumulated totals or individual totals. I’d like to use this to track customer parts and time for billing purposes, timesheets for employees, etc. where information will be accessed daily.
The Employee Access area must have a second secure area with SSL where they can log onto from a customer’s location and access a shopping cart that can tie into PayPal (or potentially a different credit card processing company) so they can generate an invoice on-site where a customer wants to pay with a credit card rather than cash or check. From the employee access area, they could put in all of the customer’s information for the credit card payment to be made, and the generated invoice would have the details of the shopping cart items ranging from parts to services.
The Administrator Access area will be where I can log on to get timecard information and billing information that the on-site technicians submit. Additionally, again in SSL, I need to have an area for future expansion that I can add remote IP cameras to check on the store remotely (and have recordings sent to a remote location for storage) rather than needing to be there 24/7.
Affiliates will be companies whose products we represent and market.
I need for the web page to be mirrored to another of our domains that will be hosted on a separate server so that if one host drops or goes out of business, we can continue to operate uninterrupted.
