We're an education technology company based in Chicago that uses AI to enable inquiry-based online discussion at scale in schools. We're looking for a freelancer to build a form for our website that would direct people signup for the correct meeting types based on how they answer the form.
Our clients are college and university instructors. For our current process, when someone visits our site, they fill out a Google Form. The goal of the current form is to collect information about the instructor and schedule their next call (either an onboarding session with the correct account manager for the school or a demo of our tool if they have not yet attended one). We’re having the instructor signup for an onboarding session by clicking on a Calendly link for their assigned account manager once they get to the end of the form (this setup is set up as a question in the form). However, this flow is causing two main problems:
1. Instructors will fill out the form without clicking on the Calendly link and don’t schedule time with their account manager.
2. Instructors get to the Calendly question, signup for the onboarding, but don’t submit the form and we aren't able to collect their information.
We’d like to hire a freelancer to help create a form that could be embedded into our marketing website that would have the following flow:
Instructors go to our webpage, and if they’re interested in learning more about our tool, they could fill out a form with their name, phone number and email address. They will then be asked if they’ve attended a demonstration of the tool. If no, they will be prompted to fill out their institution's name. As they type, their school name will populate and they can select their school. They'll get a calendar invite based on which school they choose. This is the end of their flow, this person will now be scheduled to see a demonstration of the tool. If there’s a way to make this trigger an opportunity creation in Salesforce, that would be ideal, but not necessary.
If they say they've already seen a demo, they will then be prompted to fill out their institution's name. As they type, their school name will populate and they can select their school. Based on the school they select, a calendar for that the account manager for the school will appear and the instructor can select the day/time to meet with their account manager. This is the end of their flow. If there’s a way to make this trigger an opportunity creation in Salesforce, that would be ideal, but not necessary.
The instructor would be complete once they schedule a meeting/signup for a demo. Submitting the form would then trigger a confirmation email letting them know they successfully scheduled their meeting/demo.
Freelancers working on the project will receive more detailed instructions and explanations of the sessions and flow if needed.
