A web developer is responsible for the layout and coding of a website. They are involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website - how the site works and how it looks. And can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site. - write the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements - Integrate and customize different API's - Contributing to “scope of build” conversations with development team, project managers, designers and other developers Integrating sliced PSD files (usually already converted to HTML/CSS) into either WordPress or some other proven open source system (note: WordPress is our primary CMS platform); many of our builds are responsive -Deploy the site onto a server. Specific Skills: - -Strong understanding of PHP back-end development. -Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. -Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WordPress -Knowledge of PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Symfony, Yii, Zend, etc) a plus. Laravel strongly desired ( Additional skills are preferred, not necessary) . -Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus. We need someone who can devote 4 hours daily and monthly basis fixed pricing. New comers who want to improve profile and have sound coding skills are welcome too.
