This should be a simple project - I am looking to be able to check [login to view URL] for an updated file. Check however you want - MD5, date, size - and send an email when the file has been updated. This can be accomplished by any means necessary. I would think using powershell, one could download the file several times a day, compare the MD5, and send email if MD5 was different. I am sure there are many various solutions.
