I need to build an app for a client. It is essentially a residential homes management app.
You need to firstly be able to create the parks that the residents are housed on.
You can then create a new plot on the park, that includes details such as address, costs and dates that things are ready or delivered.
You can then add the name and details of the resident that moves in.
There will be a few custom fields such as "Deposit paid" and "Moved In date", so each page (or form) must allow us to add/remove custom fields in the admin side.
For each home, you will be able to open a page to view all of the details.
This page must include an option to add "BILLS" (water, electric, gas etc including the meter readings etc.) as well as any costs/charges made to the address (such as garden maintenance, delivery charges etc).
We must be able to print individual reports from each of the pages, but there must also be a main print area where you can print "All Names", "All Names & Rents", "Rent Balances", "Water", "Electric" and "Gas" bill reports.
We have yet to design the layout of these printouts - so we'll have to design that as we go.
The customer already has a working Joomla website which would would be great if we could install this app as a page on the site that they can log in to - so we can host it on their existing site.
However, I am just as happy to install Wordpress into a subfolder and have you create a wordpress based app.
If you analyse the requirements here, they pretty much just need an advanced version of Joomlas built-in Contact Manager. Just the ability to add/remove custom fields here and there, and printing reports. So I would be just as happy with a few extensions/mods that can modify the already existing Contact Management part of these CMS systems - or even just a whole new site built using a MySQL db that I can also create for you.
I'm looking for somebody that can do all of this in a 2 to 3 week period and has some great ideas how to implement it.

After looking at your project's details, we got an general idea of functionality that you need implemented and we can do it for sure no either in Joomla or WordPress for sure, we would check the platform suitability later. However there are more details can be included in specification for design and functionality of required Residential home management application. For example :
1. What attributes would a Park have that users will need to submit at time of creating a Park entity on website?
2. How user can search for created Parks and in what visual form he/she would get the results.
3. What will be visual appearance of a Park created and how a Park would look divided into plots, which are selectable?
Similar to above question we need detailed formulation of process that the application should excite.
