Custom SN Site Base on Lists

Social Networking Site based on top 10 lists. I DO NOT WANT A MYSPACE OR OTHER CLONE. I understand some areas may be similar, but this is a custom job.

Users have profile page similar to MySpace, but all other information is top 10 lists.

Lists can get comments like a blog. Lists can be updated/changed, but comments stay.

Basic lists show on every member homepage. These initial lists only show the top 3, then click to see the full list.

Favorite websites

People can then build their own custom lists, and invite their group of friends to rate the same list. Once a person gets an invite to rate a list, they need to be able to forward it on as well, using private messaging that will forward to a member’s email address giving at time of sign up.

Need a “Invite someone to join” page where people can type in email addresses and send a quick email invitation to join the site.

Create a custom list

Member chooses initial category list fits into, then they create a title for the list, confirm it, then start filling out their list.

Search lists – by category, by user, by listed item

Website index page – show Random list (someone’s top 10), newest member (with link), newest list (with link)

Small poll section on the side that list random #1s. Vote Amen or hell no – submit, show next one as well as results of last voted. Those results also show up next to the #1 spot for that list. Include About Us, FAQ, Sign In, Contact Us and Search

Ability to control banner/button ads (main page only, run-of-site, etc.) Need the ability to track clicks on the ads as well.

Member homepage

Ability to upload picture and pick what parts of registration info are displayed on page

Ability to upload 1 picture per list that will show next to list, thumbnail next to top 3 listing

Show top 3 of basic lists

Then show top 3 of “My featured Lists” (these are user created lists)

Then have link – All my lists (which will link to a page that lists top 3 in every list the user has, which should scroll down as far as needed)

Show list views (page views of a particular list)

When creating a list:

Ability to Upload photo for the list – photo can have URL link

Each entry can have URL link

Each list can be in its own font/color

Can have lists with blank spaces

When editing a list:

List shows up with numbers to the left, item, then link – delete item button, move to top button

Can freely edit place number, item and link

If the member clicks on their own list, an edit button should be on the page

Have a list comparison function

You can choose X number of your friends list and show a side by side comparison of your rankings for the same list.

When people click on someone’s list, they can vote amen or hell no next to each item in that list – also displays percentages with number of votes.

When people register, they must complete a profile

• Screen name (cannot duplicate Screen names)

• Password

• First Name

• Last Name

• City

• State

• Email address

• Birthday

• Upload profile photo or picture

I would also like users to have the ability to vote on each item in the list - amen or hell no, and show the percentages.

Also, I would want the main homepage to display the newest member (linking to their page) and the newest custom list (linking to that list)

Ideally, the edit list page would work like a netflix que where you can alter the place of things, delete, or move to the top of the list.
