A WHMCS module is required in order to assist in selling API access to customers. The billing system is WHMCS, and the API service has a API gateway service called API Umbrella. A WHMCS provisioning module is needed that will provide a customer with a correct setup and valid API keys from an API umbrella once they have paid via the WHMCS portal. The module must accept the appropriate API Umbrella options such as rate limits, which can be configured from the WHMCS. The module options such as ip of API umbrella and the URI etc should be configurable from WHMCS. IE - Admin sells an API access package with an hourly request limit of 1000 requests per hour... the module - add that customer into API Umbrella, generates an API key - returns it to WHMCS and displays it and sets the rate limit on the key to 1000 requests per hour in API umbrella.

Hello, I have 7 years of experience in developing modules, addons, registrar modules for WHMCS. I have created many provisioning modules, that provision accounts via API. I can make this for you. As specified, everything can be configured, like API URL, RateLimit either via module configuration or as Configurable Options (Setup > Product/Services > Configurable Options). The client will be able to see their credentials from the clientarea, inside a particular service page. A client can have more than one API Umbrella service, if they require. I follow best coding practices and create a nice, readable code. I use inbuilt WHMCS functions and DBAL functions, which makes the code run in future WHMCS/php version upgrades as well. I'm WHMCS admin user/developer already since v2.2 (somewhere in year 2006), did many template customizations, hacks & hooks, provisioning modules and payment gateways (last was The Bitcoin & Ethereum payment gateway for WHMCS 7.6.0). I would love to develop a provisioning module that will setup access over the "umbrella" API.
